1906 Postcard of La Bergere De Venzolasca
(Corsica)

Corte (Corse) Corsica: Collection J. Moretti, 1906. Postcard depicting a handsome-faced and formidable looking woman dressed in rustic outfit of scarf, blouse and broad-sashed pants, hands supported by the barrel of a double barreled shotgun; message entirely in French as is address and postally used with 10 centime stamp; evidently having to do with travel and business; some tips wear and soiling to card; still in very good condition and an interesting Corsica and travel ephemeral item from early in the 20th century; Venzolasca is a town in the Haute-Corse department of France on the island of Corsica. Very Good (Item ID: 20994)
