Nicely engraved accomplished image of seated woman with long hair holding a rolled document in her hand; image 8 1/2" x 6 1/2" approximate size; 1" + borders; with the "Printed by A. Salmon & Ardail Paris" imprint below the image center; no date but circa 1850s; old dampstaining to top outer edge, could be washed out, does not intrude in inage; few old foxing spots in margins; a strong image, in very good condition.
