Circa 1910 Genealogical list and notes written by Duane P. Cobb of Westhampton Beach, with notation at top, "For Mrs. Helen Gould Shepard" Mrs. H.G. Shepard (1868-1938) was the daughter of financier Jay Gould and Helen Miller; the notes list the Miller line "of your ancestors"; the author is intrigued to note some confirmation of the relation of Rev. Abraham Pierson to the Millers via a pamphlet by Uri Mulford, "…who was descended from the Millers of Easthampton…" Which he speculates may add "some" weight to the heritage conclusions. Cobb also mentions comparisons with the findings of (historian) Hedges and what they imply for the line, especially comparing the Mulford findings. Fairly legible, on lined paper; undated. Paper worn, a little scruffy; in good condition. (with) Mulford, Uri. Colonial Ancestors and Descendants.
