Group of religious organization ephemera, centering around the Eastman family of Roslyn, NY and Trinity Church including: 1887 certification of Baptism for William Eastman, completed in manuscript, printed on thin card in 2 colors 1895 Birthday Party invitation with a printed poem given at Trinity Rectory, printed on card and inviting Mr. & Mrs. Henry Eastman (darkened, with old discoloration) 1908 Cathedral of the Incarnation Diocese of Long Island Convention Day program (2) 1909 Benediction Service programs at the above Cathedral dedication the memorial to the first bishop of Long Island (2) 1910 Invitation to a supper at the Rectory by Rev. C.H. Brewster, with hand-colored & shape-cut shamrock decoration 1914 "Everybody at Church Sunday" flyer, requesting that the members of the Episcopal Presbyterian and Methodist churches of Roslyn attend services on Memorial Day (surface rubbed with the loss of a few words, the sense is clear) with the original mailing envelope; previous owner notation in a neat hand of a couple of names. With a group of undated ephemera, including a Lay Delegate's Card for Henry Eastman, noted as Senior Warden of Trinity; three small blank Lay Ballots for Bishop of Long Island; (2) blank attendance cards for the Diocesan convention; two nomination forms for the Missionary Committee, one with write-in names; a form for the nominations for the Standing Committee. Various sizes and paper and cardstock; light wear, descriptions noted above; most in very good condition.
