With black & white illustrations of charts, tables, interior & exteriors of buses of the time. The survey had been jointly commissioned by the Transit Advertising Association and the Metro Transit Advertising Division of Metromedia. The contents give the background, scope of survey, methodology, findings & conclusions. The survey emphasis was on rider opinion and response to and the effectiveness of advertising, in 'old' and 'new' forms; while also covering various other calculations of user opinions on comfort, pricing and ridership frequency-rates. Laid-in is a two-page list of future transportation possibilities & recommendations for equipment and services. Approx. 9" x 11 1/2" size; metal crimped-brad bound in Duo-Tang 358 flexible dark blue heavy gloss paper, with typed cover label. Some edge, tips wear to the binding; laid-in leaves side-wrinkled; in good condition.
