Text printed double-column, with inspirational Christian essays, experiences of devotees, reviews and news of missionary activities, along with a list of donations to the cause of the missions and with the notation that "All the Profits, after supporting the Work, will be devoted to Foreign Missions." The Trustees report gives a precis of the activities of several missionaries, in the Southern U.S., travel hindrances due to Indians, illness of the missionaries as well as several reports from the Canadian-U.S. borderlands and the sufferings of the populace due to the ongoing war with Great Britain. Approx. 5 3/4" x 9 1/8" size; original printed blue paper wrap covers, top detached. Some edge wear & chipping to the binding, sewing frayed; some spotting & foxing; in good condition.
