Content regarding changing the bed of the creek back of the shop, starting the building of new houses and getting up of samples; also telling of a visit to New York with their wives and an appraisal of a relation's stock & hope for an insurance payout; and filial greetings. Approx. 8 1/4" x 10 3/4" size, old fold lines; in very good condition. (with) A Letter dated December 26th, 1884, a full page, also on letterhead, to "Sister" and signed Your Aff. Bro. John. Content regarding family health news, notice of sending items from Scotland, and holiday best wishes. Approx. 8 1/4" x 10 3/4" size, old fold lines; little splitting at fold at top, old dark waxy residue spot at back edge; in very good condition.
