Dealers in General Merchandise and Cotton Buyers. For cotton and the guano account. 1892 Kay & Baker Dealers in General Merchandise, Fertilizers, Etc. Etc. Fine Flour and Tobacco Specialties. For cash for Mrs. M.J. Milford. 1894 Handwritten receipt of monies received of Mrs. M.J. Milford for the return of a cow, per an agreement. Signed with the mark ("x") of Andy Humphreys, witnessed by J.M. Burgher. 1888 - 1900 Brown, Osborne & Co. Dealers in General Merchandise, Cotton, Bagging and Ties, and Fertilizers. Five (5) separate receipts for cotton sales, fertilizer and bags, to Sanders Chasteen, R.M. Herron and several to Mrs. M.J. Milford. 1901 Handwritten receipt of monies received of Mrs. Martha Milford for 4835 shingles from JU. Walter Dickson of Townsville, SC. Receipts average approx. 6" x 7" size; some wear and spotting, edge-chipping; content very legible and in good condition.
