Twelve black & white photographs of this damaged aircraft, all with the in-plate date-stamp of 3/24/64. The images show metallic shavings from damaged systems, corroded gaskets, propeller & wing assembly views with bent props, damaged tubular assemblies and gearing mechanisms. The photos with the numbered in order, P-136079 to P-13690, inclusive; also with the numbering of BU 151646. One of the images with the penned note on back, "S-2F - After Water Landing." This aircraft was originally planned for U.S. Navy carrier-based use in anti-submarine detection & warfare. Approx. 8" x 10" size; light wear; in very good condition.
