New York, NY: Not Published, 1882. F Letters both dated Feb. 11th 1882 on Francis & Loutrel New York letterheads, handwritten, acknowledging payment of a debt. Letters approx. 5 1/4" x 8 1/2" size (with) the letters attached at top edges to a larger sheet, along with 2 checks; one to the Francis & Loutrel Co. dated 1882. and the other to the McAnerny Co. in 1879. The larger sheet dated 1878 and with seal; being a printed notice regarding the insolvency of John McAnerney and Henry St. George Offutt, the firm of John McAnerney & Co. and assignment to Bentley D. Hassell for the benefit of the creditors, of which Loutrel was one. Witnessed by James E. Noble and John A. Gowers.
