He and his wife & son survived WWII and there is material on subsequent emigration to Israel; also including documentation and lists of household goods & financial records and official documents. Official Documents, Pensijni Ustav: Approx. 30 Official documents, forms, letters, of various sizes, with metal clip holding these materials into the portfolio cover. Various dates, from 1920s to late 1940s and including WWII dates. Some of the documents in German as well as Czech language; all concerning claims of Alexander Weinberger. (with) A similar file of documents, dated 1946, about 20 pieces; in a folder with title Prihlaska Majetku. Textile Industrial Arts: 1924 -1928 Rozbor Tkanin (fabric analysis) pages, Vissi Stat. Skola Textilni V Brne; (50) pages or more, identified on each as the work of Alexander Weinberger. With fabric samples and weaving pattern graphs, hand-colored, originally tipped-on; these have mostly detached from the pages. Some of the designs, especially those demonstrating physical processes, done completely by hand in pen & ink. Printed forms are filled-out with manuscript notations, drawings and information on each, an archive of textile industrial arts educational system of the time. Soot-damaged, dampstained. Circa 1927 - 1928 Chemicka Textilni Technologie file, typed sheets, one side only; occasional notation; in Czech; with blueprints: Approx. 30 blueprints, of various sizes, from 2 " x 3 " to 5 " x 7 " size. Usually, there is some description handwriting in the print, appears to be in Czech. The equipment are various boilers, batteries, systems for chemical interchange and processes of different kinds. These are the visual explanatory part of the chemical textile technology file. Pages worn, edge-damage; dampstained; blueprints in good condition, loosely laid-in. The materials kept in a portfolio-style cover. Circa 60 pages of typed housing and accessories listings; with number of items, prices, dates, 1934 - 1945; with running totals; belonging to Alexander Weinberger Praha Ul. F. Plaminkove 12. Including a list of books, artworks. The purpose of this detailed listing is not known; on light green typewriting paper. (With) pages of women's & men's clothing listings, having the official notary stamp of Alois Sevcik, Praha and his signature on each page; these are not priced. (With) A couple of pages of handwritten notes and listings of similar material. (With) pages of additional listings of miscellaneous items, prices, date of purchase, for Alexander, Anna and Edvard Weinberger. Documents, approx. 20 individual pieces; associated with the Weinberger family emigration to Israel & associated materials: 1950-1956 Several typed notes initialed, in Hebrew on Nahariya Agricultural Cooperative Society Ltd. letterhead to Alexander Weinberger; also manuscript letters, written in German to the NACS from Mr. Weinberger. 1957 Typed notes initialed, in Hebrew on Meir Ben-Dor Advocate letterhead from Acre, Salah-Ed-Din St. With other manuscript notes, paper-clipped together; in Hebrew or German, Nahariya ACS -related. 1972 Typed letter signed on Osterreichische Botschaft letterhead to Alexander Weinberger in Naharia; regarding his queries on Czech matters. Miscellaneous: 1934 Printed card, initials in red & naming Anna Levinska (and) Alexander Weinberger's; marriage at the Prague Synagogue 25 Nov. 1934. 1938 Typed letter to Anton Leger , Schlackenwerth bei Karlsbad, Lichtenstadterstr. 153 Dtschld - Sudetengau. In German, 5 pages, regarding debts; with a list of names in Czech. Undated typed numbered form-questionnaire regarding passport documents. 3 copies; not filled-in; in Czech. (with) Pasovy Dotaznik identification forms (blank) 6 copies; printing dated 1947. 1962 Cardstock item, Hebrew text, printed in red & black. Silk ribbon, with bow at top tied in metallic gilt string; with plant material - dried flowers, leaves; in a cardstock portfolio covers. Undated Alijah questionnaire not filled-in; in Czech, Prague address. A folder of (6) pages of pencil-handwritten English stories; one of these is an extract from "The Stolen Bacillus" by H.G. Wells.
