The catalog presented at the inauguration of the exhibition to benefit Polish WWI veterans in France was 30 November 1918; with a list of the royal, political and business patrons of the event. Preliminary text by Boyer D'Agen and with the list of over 40 artists who participated in the exhibit, giving their name and the title of the work. At the page for the entries for painter Stefan Kergur is a handwritten note from the artist signed to collector Boleslawa Mastai dated Paris 1954. Laid-in is the printed Invitation to the original Exposition; previous owner has laid-in a note from the Miami Hotel, Paris. Approx. 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" size; cover printed in red and black, with shield & Polish eagle armorial device. Some edge, tips wear to the binding, darkened, soiling; couple of marginal marks in the text.
