F Including several parts and groups of ephemera: A clothbound volume with illustrated cover, having 91 pages printed one side only on glossy paper stock in colors and sepia tones, demonstrating the art of decorative cake-work, cookie design and the use of elaborate presentation in this culinary art. Approx. 11" x 11 1/2"; cloth worn, discolored, spine ends frayed, contents in good condition. (with) A 24-page softcover booklet describing each plate with German text, approx. 10 1/2" x 11 1/2", printed stapled covers; some edge, tips wear; old inner damp-stain at outer margin; in good condition. (with) A hardcover portfolio, approx. 11" x 11 1/2" size, holding 24 die-cut patterns made from thin cardstock, a group of 13 pierced wax paper pounce patterns and a triangular pastry chef's canvas piping or pastry decorating funnel-bag, in the remains of a glassine pouch. The cardstock die-cut patterns average about 10 3/4" square; the pounce patterns are a bit smaller. The cardstock darkened; several of the pounce patterns with old spotting and discolorations; in good condition. With the remains of the old printed paper wraps for the patterns laid-in, very worn and torn, wrinkled; also a laid-in publishers' catalog sheet offering books in the decorative culinary arts.
