With references to hundreds of businesses, suppliers and manufacturers in the shoe business, dated 1916 - 1920. Companies mentioned include: Andrews Wasgett Co., Everett Massachusetts; D.L. Ward Co., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; H. W. Forbush, Inc. New York; Thayer Osborne Shoe Co., Farmington New Hampshire; A. Ridgway & Son Delanco New Jersey; Hagerstown Shoe & Legging Co. Maryland; Norway Shoe Co., Norway Maine; Dunn & McCarthy Auburn, New York; John Laurie & Sons Chicago Illinois; The Bluff City Shoe Co., Hannibal Missouri; The Cincinnati Shoe Co., Ohio; Emerson - Remington Co.
