F 261 pages; with several useful indexes: metrical index of tunes; index of subjects; table of psalms and hymns contained in the order of their numbers, with finding aid numbers and an index of first lines; the volume with musical notation and lyrics. Front endpaper with the notation of the Presbyterian Church of Southampton L.I. and with a small pencil drawing of a flower; final endpaper with the pencil name of Samuel Egbert Ellsworth Southampton New York and repeated on the opposite page written in a gothic style and a few other pencil notes at back. Approx. 6" x 7 1/4" size, illustrated & printed paper covered boards, with leather spine. Boards very rubbed, worn; blank endpaper lacking at front and half torn away at back.
