Approx. 6 7/8" x 9 3/4" size; original light blue stapled printed softcover binding, black cover titles. Light edge, tips wear to the covers, a little sunning-shadow; in very good condition. Mary Douglas Leakey (1913 -1996) British archaeologist and palaeoanthropologist "...laboured under the hot sun, meticulously recording scatters of early stone tools and fossil bones, setting new standards for archaeological fieldwork...a hard-working, modest, retiring person who disliked the limelight, deferring publicity to her husband.
