A retired engineer's reading list; consisting of 5 small hand-made booklets; the first four organized alphabetically by author; giving name and title of work; occasionally, there is a remark penciled-in, mostly, 'buy again'; the last list is marked "Military" and also alpha-organized, the list being similar adventure-thriller novels with a more pronounced military theme or background to the story; circa 65 'pages'; each with each page printed one side in an old computer-font 8-point type having 20 names & titles of books per page for a total of over 1300 individual books; the lists act as a modest bibliography of sorts for the genre, the reader reading 8 David Baldacci titles, 6 Gerry Carroll, 11 Lee Child, 8 Tom Clancy, 13 Patricia Cornwell, 17 Jeffery Deaver and so on; occasional additional pencil-note; occasional non-fiction noted as well, usually regarding transportation titles; the small size of these booklets would enable the reader to quickly reference while out buying books; approx. 2 1/2" x 4 1/2" size; light wear to paper; in very good condition and an interesting history of reading in this genre for Frank E. Bunce (1920 - 2015) a retired aeronautical engineer of Grumman Aerospace Corp. Item #24034
