F A hand-drawn and lettered chart with artists & their relationship-lines, dates, related schools; finely written in black ink, with some of the title lettering in blackletter style; sidebar column on left offers a chronological Outlines of Venetian History dated 1335 - 1560, with significant events listed; sidebar to the right offers a similar chronology, with painters' approximate dates listed; inset boxes offer information on the Later Venetian School and Later Eclectic and Naturalist Schools; no calligrapher or date noted; provenance: from the estate of an art student who later became an accomplished architect; ink-drawn & lettered on polished linen architectural vellum, approx. 21 3/4" x 34 1/4" (55.25 x 87 cm) in size; little fraying and darkening at edges, some rippling & rolling to the vellum; right-hand bottom margin with 1/2" chip, that edge's vellum more darkened, where the chart had been exposed when rolled up; a few tiny pin-pricks or mount-holes; in very good condition, very well-inked and an interesting art-history "genealogical tree" of the Italian Renaissance and many of the creative humanists that influenced the movement and their inter-relationships, graphically presented.
