F Two paper receipts, on Janawery (January) 25 1783, Jan Monfoort acknowledging receipt of fourteen shillings of the Executor of Jost Derye (Joost Duryea) for funeral charges, approx. 2" x 8" size; and the other for June 2, 1783 "...received of the Executors of Joost Durye Late of Oysterbay deceased of wairing apparral (wearing apparel) To the amount of four pound six shillings I say this (signed) George Duryea" approx. 4" x 6 3/4" size; with a bit of wear and soiling; larger receipt with the words '1 rake and fork' on back, blurred; in very good condition.
