F Image depicts three small elephants bathing at the beach, one with mahout driver-keeper riding atop, others guiding these petite pachyderms from the shore and into the water, all of them with the name "Bostock" on their sides; no backstamp or photographer noted; image approx. 6 1/8" x 8 1/4" size; pale ivory-cream paper cardstock mount measures 10" x 12" approx.; some edge, tips wear to cardstock; dustiness; image with a couple of small spots, silvering at the bottom right corner; in very good condition; our research indicates that the Bostock circus menagerie were situated in Coney Island's Dreamland in 1904.
