F Over 350 black and white photographic images; with occasional identification on the page: a few of children costumed for Carneval 1928; Luzern 1928; picnic St. Blasien; lakeside camping, 1929 Zermatt; Langenbruck; Andermatt; Engelberg, Trubsee; Lausanne, 1929 Murren, a few dozen images of France, touring, mostly architecture - Provence, les Grau-du-Roi, Arles, Nimes, Avignon, Blois, Marseille, Versailles, Chartres, Tours, Abbey St. Benoit; family photos, ski holidays, mountain visits; of varying formats, most 2 1/2" x 3 1/4" some larger; images lightly glued in to album pages; previous owner identification at front, noting the images as "...mainly, in Basel, Switzerland, with friends on vacation..."; all contained in a 9 3/4" x 13" approximate size plain paper album with the stationer or maker name of Giuseppe Rizzi Oggetti d'Arte Varese Lombardo on a small sticker at back; patterned paper over cardstock covers, with cloth spine having the same paper as covering, with the remains of the old silk ribbon ties, which threaded through the cover; the binding worn, rubbed; a few photographs loosened from their moorings; all in very good condition; portraying the lifestyle of a well-off family vacationing in the time between the world wars.
