It has been a labor of love to complete them...In her memory."; from the estate files of Robert Keene, also a Southampton Town historian, bookseller and publisher; the copyright, while not dated (probably circa 1970s or so) states that "Permission to reproduce copy or use any part of Stories of Old Southampton must be obtained from the Board of Education...Southampton, N.Y."; (we have never seen an original, printed copy of this item, which suggests it may have been a small publication for the School district use only); apparently copied from a typescript; bound in a modern green grip-side binder with stiff covers; first and last pages with some light wear & soiling; very good condition and interesting Southampton town and Halsey family research material.
