Bouquet, Paris and a well-taken printed image of the author on front; Robert Louis Stevenson (1850-1894) Scottish-born writer, "...In 1875 he paid his first visit to the artists' colonies in the forest of Fontainebleau frequented by Bob Stevenson, and for the next three years spent much time first at Barbizon and then at Grez. He wrote of his impressions in ‘Forest notes’ (1876) and ‘Fontainebleau’ (1884). He was always at ease in France; he spoke the language fluently and loved French literature..."
