F One-sided printed flyer advertising Dr. Nyaradi's talk regarding "Today's Education - Tomorrow's International Business" and in which is explained Dr. Nyaradi's topics, including "...specifically as to new developments in the economic cold war waged between free Nations and the Commies for control..."; signed at top in full in blue ink; Nicholas (Miklós) Nyárádi (1905 - 1976) Hungarian politician, who served as Minister of Finance between 1947 and 1948, defectorw who settled in the U.S., subject of a ghost-written memoir (by Patrick Dennis) the UK Natoinal Archives has an intteresting historical snippet about him: "1949 - Interrogation in Switzerland in Dec 1948 of Miklos Nyaradi, former Hungarian Minister of Finance - Defected Hungarian Minister of Finance, Miklos Nyaradi, agrees to talk to Anglo American authorities who interrogate him at length. Ernest Bevin commented that he regarded Nyaradi as 'untrustworthy' and a 'self-satisfied opportunist'. The interrogation notes reveal the extent of Soviet penetration in all areas of Hungarian society - social, political and commercial. There is also concern about passing this information to the BBC."; about 9 3/4" x 7 1/4" size; with a portrait of Dr. Nyaradi at top; some old adhesive residue on back, has bled through a bit to the edges of the print side, no lettering obscured; may have been trimmed, or perhaps had a mailing form at bottom; in good condition, interesting Cold War material and a controversial Hungarian political figure.
