Toulet were contributors. Matter and illustrations were amusing and witty, occasionally risque in tone..." (Oxford French); containing: A Paris Premiere, Deuxieme, Troisieme Series; A La Campagne, Aux Bains de Mer, Aux Eaux, Courses et Chasses and with text in French throughout; large and heavy volume, about 11" x 14" size; with the remains of the original illustrated paper wrap cover and the rest bound in sturdy red buckram cloth, leather spine label with gilt titles; some wear and soiling to the boards, first few leaves edgeworn; some spotting and foxing, light in color- the paper quality good; overall, in good condition and amusing 19th century French humorous illustrated work.
