Wood dealers in Lumber and Coal with vignette cart & load, whip-wielding drover, to the Arab-Anglo Stock Farm, for various items of hardware and construction materials, apparently for horse stable-building or repair; 1893 Statement W.H. Stoyle, Stoves, Ranges & Plumbing with a Longman and Martinez Pure Prepared Paints vignette on top of receipt, customer was also Arab Stock Farms, buying window washers and horse pails; 1894 James B. Scudder manufacturer and dealer in all kinds of Harness, Saddlery, Blankets, &c. 14 Main Street Huntington to the Stock Farm, bridle, reins, gag runners, etc; with horsehead vignette; and A.P. Dodge dealer in Builders' and Carriage hardware, garden tools, etc. to Nelson Varney, buying Harness snaps, hitching rings, rope, more; average size of documents approx. 7" x 8", some smaller, some larger; varying paper color, quality; light wear, fold lines; generally in very good condition and an interesting group of later 19th century business ephemera from Huntington, a virtual 'snapshot' of the community's business endeavors concerning horses and horse breeding on Long Island at the time.
