F 242 page historical novel by Robb, who was "...initiated into the Mohawks, was given the name Gonragon Odonyoh (White Eagle) and was invested with the rank and title Ganaydanondakto..."; (with) the 4-sided poetic "Elegy" including explanatory notes and with a cover sketch of 'White Canoe Beyond the Sunset' by painter Bruce Miline (and) a copy of the author's " the Reopening of the old and historic church, near Lake-on-the-Mountain, which has dominated that part of the Kente, since pioneer times. The occasion was a Special Evening Service which was organized and led by the student minister, Mr. George Tesky, United Church of Canada June 18th, 1944", eight pages in its own black wraps with silver gilt lettering and design; all three items signed by the author in his characteristic purple ink, with feather design below; 'Thunderbird' with glossary of Mohawk language & some notes for the text, crude drawings & maps at front; bound in green cloth with gilt titles; light wear to boards; slight wear to the poetic items, laid in; very good condition overall and a good group of this author's writings.
