1968 Black and White Panoramic Birds-Eye-View Aerial Map of New York City & Long Island Compiled By Lockwood, Kessler & Bartlett Syosset (and) New York
(Long Island Map)

Syosset (and) New York: Lockwood, Kessler & Bartlett, 1968. Map compiled by this large engineering firm, still very much in business in Syosset on Long Island; Scale 1" to 7500 feet; on three panels, which are laid-down to masonite backer; approximately 23" x 96" in length (the 'longest' Long Island map we have had in stock, ever); also depicting a large portion of Manhattan Island and the opposite New Jersey shore; incredibly detailed photographic work, done in 'negative', with roadways, buildings, geographical features and population densities all clearly and graphically delineated; light wear, old mounting holes in margin; in very good condition and a great Long Island history ephemeral piece from the mid-twentieth century. Very Good (Item ID: 17662)
