Pencil inscribed above the art of a group of partying soldiers in part-uniforms; and titled and signed below by the artist; Black and white etching in a blocky, cubist-futurist mode; no date but circa 1950s; given to James "From Here to Eternity" Jones by the artist; image 4" x 4 7/8" approx. size, short margins; tipped on to old matte mount, not glued to cardstock backer; a little darkened; matte needs renewing; in very good condition, interesting provenance association with the wartime theme and Jones' intense interest in the subject.
