This collection is my personal selection, put together over the past ten years; The collection includes: Flash Gordon and the Tournaments of Mongo, The Big Little Book # 1171, 1935, 425 pges + publisher's announcements at back, front cover & spine washed-out to brown, with old discoloration, except for figures of Flash & Dale, back cover very bright with The Emperor Ming sitting in his Skull's Head chariot, drawn by 5 fierce-looking tigerish beasts, some edge, tips wear to binding, browning to leaves, good condition; Flash Gordon In the Caverns of Mongo, 218 pages, orange cloth, dark blue lettering, glossy black and white frontispiece, top edge dyed blue, illustrated endpapers, some edge, bit of wear and cocking, no dustjacket; Flash Gordon and the Tyrant of Mongo, The Better Little Book # 1484, 1941, 424 pges + publisher's announceme nts at back, front, back, spine very bright with The Emperor Ming pointing out to the reader to "See em Move Just Flip the Pages" and Flash and Ming go at it with swordfighting duel in action, some edge, tips wear to binding, browning to leaves, good condition; Flash Gordon and the Red Sword Invaders, 1945, 346 pges + publisher's announcements at back; The Better Little Book # 1479. Flash and Dale portrayed on cover wth The Universe as the backdrop; Flash Gordon in "Red Hot" 8 pages, printed single-side, black and white illustrated "Tijuana Bible", cover in black and red, approximately 3" x 4 1/2" size, Queen Undina makes a deal with Flash, his "favor" for his freedom, and because of the heat generated by their mutual actions, ignites a box of Trinite (which is handy as a makeshift bed) the most powerful explosive in the universe, side-stapled, some wear to printing, edges, good condition; Flash Gordon, # 905 of the Treasure Books Series, lists next-to-last on back cover, not paginated but 24 pages, color ilustrations by Alex Berger, color-illustrated glazed-paper covered boards, approximatley 8" x 6" size; light wear, very good condition; Flash Gordon Dell No. 424 featuring "Test Flight in Space", not paginated but about 30 pages, standard 7 1/4" x 10 1/4" approximate size, 10 cent coer price, copyright 1952, some light edge, tips wear to covers, pages browning, a few leaves with old printer's flaw in paper at bottom margin, leaving evenly-spaced scrapes, unobtrusive and not in images; Flash Gordon: The Lion Men of Mongo # 1 adapted by Con Steffanson (from the Raymond story-line), 159 pages "First Avon Printing..." stated on copyright page, softcover, light wear, some darkening to leaves, very good condition; Flash Gordon: The Time Trap of Ming XIII # 4 adapted by Con Steffanson (from the Raymond story-line), 160 pages "First Avon Printing..." stated on copyright page, softcover, light wear, some darkening to leaves, very good condition and the Two Volume Set: Volume I Flash Gordon in the Planet Mongo (containing the original comic strip stories, in color for: The World in Danger, The Kingdom of the Falcon Men, The Triumph of Zarkov, Conquest of the Kingdom, World of the Caverns, with an Introduction to Flash Gordon by Alex Raymond) and Volume II: Into the Water World of Mongo (containing the original comic strip stories, in color for: World of the Caverns & The Underwater World); both volumes in full-color dustjackets and vividly color-illustrated throughout, published by Nostalgia press in 1974; a good collection of this famous fantasy-science-fiction adventurer and hero; a good collection in overall good condition.
