Furniss; beneath both portraits in pencil a contemporary hand has written an Indian name and clan, Furniss being Turtle Clan Seneca and Conover Wolf Clan Seneca; pamphlet is 5 3/4" x 8 3/4" approx. size; Laid-in is a dedicatory broadside poem, circa 1890, 3 3/4" x 10 1/2" size, printed on newsprint stock by J. H. Hardy, called "Fernwood By Moonlight"; Fernwood being a park built by Furniss at Crystal Springs, Yates County, NY; and a couple of small related contemporary newspaper clippings; sewn as issued; no additional covering wraps; in good condition.
