The prefatory remarks note that the Fiske Fund awarded this dissertation the premium of one hundred dollars at their meeting in 1860. Approx. 5 3/4" x 9 1/4" size; bound in the original pale green printed sewn paper wrap covers. Some soiling and old crease lines to the binding; a few scattered foxing-spots within; in very good condition.
