Original artwork on paper, signed Rose Graubart in lower right corner in ink; also signed (faintly) again by her in the right corner in pencil. Not framed, approx. 11 3/4" x 17 3/4" size. Accomplished with black ink on light blue paper, appears composed as a monoprint, using a stencil or cutout for the main figures & block sections; raking light reveals added black ink for emphasis as well as fine lines within the figures. Art by Rose Graubart Ignatow (1914 - 1995) artist-poet of East Hampton, Long Island NY. Not dated and circa 1950s. Some edge, tips wear and a few closed edge-tears, corner tips chipped away; old tape residue from mounting visible on back top edge; little bit of old taping at corner edges as well. Old measurements & matting instructions written on reverse; an interesting composition in good condition.
