Including a sample illustration, biography of the photographer, chapter contents and reviews in photographic periodicals and other sources and an order form for the book at back panel. William Steeple Davis (1884-1961) was a prolific painter, educator, engraver, block printer, photographer, writer and graphic artist, born in Orient, Long Island, (WWW in American Art 1999) Approx. 5 1/2" x 8" size; slight wear; in very good condition.
