Text gives the biography and artistic achievement history of this Scottish-born artist, with information on his early years in Edinburgh, travels, painting periods, National Medal canvases and an extensive of list of locations of his work in public and private collections. Laid-in is a list of 60 paintings by Tom Currie-Bell (1873 - 1946), titles and locations and other details when known, for the Memorial Exhibition of the artist held at his studio. Approx. 6 1/4" x 9 1/2" size; heavy cream paper stock covers, printed titles, deckle fore-edge; light wear, darkening; in very good condition and an especially good reference for this artist, that lived on the North Fork of Long Island, N.Y.
