Greene (1922 - 2013) writer, New Orleans jazz musician, documentarian, historian and long an enthusiastic visitor to Japan while on his musical tours who often stayed at International House and was a supporter of their activities. The volume is a festschrift collection of writings published in honor of M.B. Jansen and includes pieces by Patricia G. Steinhoff, M. William Steele, Tom Havens, Mitani Hiroshi, Henry D.
