Blytt; Danish text, in fraktur; the main text being plant classification & scientific work of Jens Wilken Hornemann (1770 - 1841) Danish botanist and university academic; front endpaper with previous owner signature and also the bookplate of Dr. Bertel Bruun (1937 - 2011) Danish-American naturalist, international conservationist and neurologist, author of several birding guides; approx. 5 1/4" x 7 1/2" size; leather spine & corner tips, marbled paper covered boards, gilt spine titles & decoration in bars, all edges tinted green; some edge, tips, spine wear, to binding, spine leather very rubbed, flaky & chipped; text darkened; a few short ink lines to some of the letters on the title page; the volume solidly sewn and in good condition.
