Collection of 50 cards; including: 5 Wilber Block fire cards, depicting scenes from the May, 22, 1906 event - ruins, the building in flames (2 different perspectives), before the walls fell and as it appeared before the fire (these are all undivided back, unused postally); 10 real photo cards of the Oneonta H.S.:. including a group student shot, all boys; drawing room & study hall interiors, stairs, corridors, gymnasium, various exterior views (these are divided back AZO except 1 Oneonta Dept. Store pub., which is postally used, the others, not); 14 black and white cards, mostly undivided backs, from various publishers: Constructing the viaduct at Richard's Crossing over D. & H. RR; Academy St. School; D.& H. RR shops; the RR round house; Ulster & Del. depot; Milling Co. reservoir; State Normal School; First Baptist Church, Club House, Main St. Bridge over Susquehanna, (9 of these postally used); color cards 17, of various publishers - Oneonta Dept. Store (but Wheelock, Illinois, printed Germany), Quarto-Chrome, Valentine, F.J. Wiltse; including views of the river, the new H.S., Windsor Hotel, Lake on Crumhorn mountain, armory, New Oneonta Hotel, Wilber Lake, 3 cards with trolley views, Chestnut & main streets; Fox Memorial Hosp.; D.& H. Depot, more (14 are postally used, mostly written to a relation in Mt. Vision, NY 1911- 1914); 4 miscellaneous real photo cards, including standing portrait of Fred J. Moreness; 23 Burnside Ave. Harold Dewey's house; the Episcopal church; Susquehanna River; cards with some edge, tips wear, those that have mailed with more so - the unused cards especially are very good plus and all are in good to very good condition overall; an interesting collection of imagery from this upstate NY town in the early part of the 20th century.
