Broadside measures approx. 21" x 14"; Archer auctioneers established in 1872, with their eponymous illustrated logo; here auctioning a "...Bungalow consists of Four Rooms and has just been recently built on a plot of ground 50 x 100. It is situated on the West Side of Edgemere Ave., 500 feet South of Jerusalem Ave., in Hempstead Park, Section 2, known as Lot Nos. 72 and 73. "; printed at the Long Island Daily Press, Jamaica, N.Y. in few different typefaces for presentation & variety on plain newsprint; attached at top margin to the original light blue protective paper over-wrap, having a few notes in pencil regarding the property: "Nelson White to Mettrich - Arrange with Schwencke for deed. - Notify other people as to doing - Sch."; some browning to paper of broadside, closed tear repaired on back with archival tissue; top edge unevenly trimmed, no loss to text; over-wrap with some soiling and wear; unevenly folded and somewhat fragile, not delicate; overall, good condition and an interesting piece of Long Island real estate development ephemeral history from Nassau County as it was being built.
