Circa 1930 Group of Photographs from North Dakota Including Matt Crowley Ranch, Buchli Ranch, Livestock and Horses and Several Shots of a Homemade Miniature Covered Wagon

North Dakota: Unpublished, 1930. Group of 17 images: two identified on back as "Matt Crowley Ranch" - Crowley a late 19th & early 20th century North Dakota Territory rancher and inductee of the Cowboy Hall of Fame - and a few others probably from the same location; with another identified as the Buchli ranch, another Fargo ND area family with additional shots taken there; a group of 4 snapshots of a 'covered wagon' constructed on the body of a child's wagon, (in two levels) with drawers and cubbyholes and posed with lariat and boots, holster and big cowboy hat as props, a charming piece of child's folk art of the American West; and a few miscellaneous shots, one appears to be of a cattle branding, with one man wearing a jacket identified as "Funk's Inc. "Butch"; another of children in a farm vehicle which looks like it's been set up to be a play theatre and another picture of an small explosion or result of gunfire in a barnyard, a lone hen in the middle ground seemingly unperturbed; one photo at 4 7/8" x 6 3/4"; a few 3 1/2" x 5 3/4"; and the rest 2 3/4" x 4 1/2" apart from the 4 'wagon' shots at 2 1/2" x 3 1/2"; light wear, generally taken well and with good detail; very good condition and interesting photographic ephemera from the 1930s Dakota area.
