Circa 1930s Impressionist Style Oil on Cardstock Winter Sunset Landscape Scene on Lake

Nicely accomplished, with especially vivid orange and turquoise highlights to the sky and water, in Fauve-like hues; winter cottage on lake scene at sunset; no date, artist signature or title; purchased years ago from a Southampton Long Island estate sale; Approx. 14" x 15 1/4" size; some edge, tips wear to the board; one edge with a short (1/4") closed tear; couple of tiny holes at right upper corner; nevertheless, painting in very good condition, would look well in the correct frame.
