Undivided Back Bilhete Postal Angola Bicycle Race Postcard "Catumbella - Gruppo De Cyclistas, Que Aguardaram a Chegada Do Governador Moutinho"
Angola. Very interesting lightly colorized postcard, depicting a group or team of cyclists, in all their gear circa 1900, one person with a flag, a multi-racial group, Africans, Hispanic, Caucasans represented, one man with a flag (no symbol discernible); identified with the title printed below the image, and in the lower margin of the image the words "Waiting on arriving of new Governor", evidently a festive occassion, perhaps for a race or parade, as several of the bicycles have decorative bunting on their wheels; in the background is the porch, possibly a large hotel, staff or guests visible; postally unused, no publisher or date on back, undivided, slight tips wear, otherwise an interesting image, in very good condition.
