With the history of the Community Life Center in its early days operated by the Dominican Sisters of the Sick Poor and later integrated within Catholic Charities; over 1200 families received services in 1979. With the dinner program participant list; on the back cover is a short biography of the award recipient, Sr. Maureen Michael Bergin, O.P. one of the founders of the Center; she was a registered nurse with a master's degree & had formed a special ministry working with Long Island's migrant farm workers. Approx. 5 1/2" x 8 1/2" size; light wear; in very good condition.
