A "Paragon Marginal Line Composition Book" with the pupil name of Helen H. Tuthill Quogue Public School on the cover. Containing (7) pages of handwritten school notes on anatomy (the balance of book's sheets are blank). Laid-in are (25) pieces of additional material, including a handmade card with an applied naïve construction-paper creature, "Who Will Love Me? A Pathetic Tail of the Unloved"; (7) inkblot artworks signed or initialed by the artists that created them, on plain paper, dated Jan. 17 or Jan. 18, 1909; a 4" x 8" ink blotter, advertising Pioneer Corn Plasters, with the name of Mrs. Tooker in script; (10) pages of additional school notes, calculations in pencil, a mimeograph English I class group of essay questions; and a 1909 Commencement Exercise program of the Elizabeth Mead School of Norwalk, Connecticut. Notebook approx. 7" x 8 1/4" size; some edge, tips wear, soiling & dustiness to the covers; contents in good condition.
