Additionally embellished with elaborate engraved head & tailpieces in each volume. All volumes with marginal pricing and other notations; Latin text. Front endpapers with the stamp & book-number of Collectors Research of Montreal, Quebec, a firm that operated from the late 1950s to the mid-1970s that specialized in minor foreign coins, sold worldwide and published monographs and books on a variety of numismatic topics and also with the circular blind-stamp of Cheryl Anne Gaver, one of the principals of that firm. Approx. 8 3/4" x 11" size; bound in marbled paper covered boards, polished calf leather spine and corners, contrasting black title labels, gilt lettered & with sober decorations; all edges tinted red. Boards detached & worn as are the spine coverings; leaves generally very clean and in very good condition.
