Three typed pages. Two of them are the draft of a report to an insurance company written by the homeowner, which gives the details of the crime - an electric company workman managed to make off with a substantial group of valuable jewelry; a few days later, the perpetrator mailed pawn tickets from several shops to the homeowner with the note, "You wont forgive me, but I was in great distress for some one else. I could have taken more and I could got more in pone shop and I will pay back to you. My own punish will come." (With) A single sheet, typed shortened version of the same report. Approx. 8 1/2" x 11"; plain bond typing paper; old fold lines, light wear; old clip-rust at top corner & pinholes; in good condition.
