A triple-fold color chart with over 375 individual color thread sample patches on the three inner panels. Stapled to the front inner board is a 3-page typed 'Intra-Company Memo Form' sent to Walter Hall by Walter D. Lowell & initialed by him, dated August 23 1949, sent to the Laboratory and detailing findings concerning fast color groupings, variations in lots, cost of the hydro-sulphite used in the mercerizing process and instructions for further laboratory testing of color thread lots as they are made. Approx. 6 1/2" x 13 1/4" size; covers printed in silver & orange on dark green heavy cardstock, with durable cloth hinges. Some edge, tips wear to the binding; cloth colors very vivid and bright and in very good condition.
