. xix + (1) + 80 + 80 pages; 'Elfrida' with the half-title; title page printed in black & red. 'Barbarossa' misprinting of page numbers, at page 8; text is complete. Previous owner name of Walter Scott on the half title, with the date of 1755; title page of 'Barbaross' also with his name; with a short comment in the margin in a contemporary hand in 'Elfrida's' prefatory 'Letters...' section. Both title pages also with the name-stamps of collector George R. Brush M.D., U.S. Navy; in service as a surgeon & medical inspector, from 1861-1894. Approx. 5 1/4" x 8 1/8" size; paper-covered boards, leather spine with faint old gilt decoration. Much edge, tips wear and rubbing to the binding, spine dry and surface-chipped; spotting and soiling throughout; one leaf in 'Barbarossa' with closed tear, with an old neat hand-stitch repair, loss of one letter of the running-title; in about good condition and with interesting provenance.
