Group includes: a large albumen photograph of a group of 12 men, seated and standing, with the stamp of Logan Photographer Fargo, N.D. on back and also with several men identified via pencil notes: Dr. Starling, (Dr.?) Guptil, Frank White, Dr. Hall, A.G. Clark; with the added notation that the photo was "Presented by Mrs. A.B. Welch Mandan N.D. April 5 1930" - our research indicates that A.B. Welch was a local collector. Image on mount card, approx. 11" x 14", nearly to the edge of the backer, which is gilt-edged. Some wear to edges, one corner creased, a bit of spottiness and fade to the image, still about very good condition; (with) C. 1910 17 men and what appears to be a live camel on stage, all men in their full Masonic Shriners garb approx. 7 1/2" x 9 3/4" (image) and 11 1/2" x 13 1/2" overall mount size, with Dewey's Studio Fargo, N.D. Studio imprint below the image on the mount - with some wear and soiling, discoloration to mount card, image very good; (with) another Dewey's Studio image, of about the same period, with a much large group of men onstage, at center foreground a young boy (or girl - long hair) in a uniform; about 100 participants, all in full Masonic garb of various kinds, man in center on (live?) camel, with 5 different Masonic banners, Auvergne Commanderie, Rex Regnum et Dominus Dominorum, others; photo not mounted - bottom right corner with Dewey's Studio imprint in the plate; one corner chipped away, bottom edge with abrasions, loss - no perceivable loss to the sense of the image's contents; (with) 1913 Shriner's Banquet El Zagal Temple Fargo N.D. June 5 1913 a dinner or banquet portrait of a roomful of hundreds of men and women (and a few children visible) in dinner attire for this event, approx. 9" x 11 3/4" size, not mounted, with the Camera Craft studio imprint in the image and the title of the event; light creasing, wear, very good; (with) Ladies Night El Zagal Temple Fargo N.D. June 5 1913, showing a stageful of male Masonic members in uniforms, approx. 6 3/4" x 11 1/2" size, with the Camera Craft MPLS imprint and title in the image as in the other, light wear and creasing, very good; an interesting group of Fargo, North Dakota photographic imagery from the early part of the 20th century, especially showing the popularity of Masonry in the area and for genealogical, historical research.

Image in sepia tones; showing the storefront of this manufacturer of umbrellas & parasols, with 7 men and 5 women, and a baby in the forefront in high chair; most of the men holding an example of their craft; a sidewalk display case with various of their wares to right of image; no street name visible, this address numbered prominently '28'; no photographer or date, no place listed, circa 1890s, probably New York City; not examined out of frame, back cover still sealed; approx. 4 1/2" x 6" (sight): framed and glazed to approx. 9 1/2" x 10 1/2"; with original matte; black wooden frame, gilt inner border; some wear and a little chipping to frame, photo with some pencil(?) marks visible under a loupe; in very good condition and an interesting trades & occupational photograph from the latter part of the 19th century.
