Map well-drawn in black ink on cloth; giving the titles of various parcels surrounding the development of Lake Park: Wiggins, Terrell, Styker, Stein, Heydolph Realty, the 40 h. reserved for the Bridle Path by Franz, Cora Schaeffer, John Preston, G.W. Olkers, Oak Ridge Park, R.C. Green, Reich Bros. property with the note as some was reserved strip for a Mohawk Trail bridle path; indicating the center line of trees along the middle of Lake Park Boulevard; and the engineer, Eugene R. Smith, Inc. Civil Engineers Islip, N.Y.; indicating area to the east bounded by John Street, South by the various properties below Grove Avenue, the "Proposed Lake Minnetonka" with its "Pleasure Island" at roughly the center of the map, bounded to the west by Broadway and Parkwood Avenue to the north at top, indicating also the King Tract, Patchogue Manor and John A. Bowan properties; large rolled map, approx. 25" x 80" size; old creasing; discoloring, wear, staining; still, in good condition and interesting Long Island real estate historical ephemera from the development days of the 1930s; since it was created on cloth, it has survived and should continue to do so.

Abbott and the Northcliffe; notes on graveyards and old markers, a list of 59 'Important Buildings and Sites Old Houses Built Before 1800' - with their locations marked on the map and with brief background history & ownership details; mileage from towns thereabout inset; the central map surrounded by 28 additional illustrations of significance to the town, including schools, churches, buildings of architectural note; black and white map, approx. 23" x 27 1/2" size, overall - including approx. 3/4" margins around, done on medium-weight paper stock; some edgewear, darkening; few old discolorations, unobtrusive; in good plus condition, interesting Bridgehampton, Long Island cartographic, genealogical and historical interest.
